A bearing and a method of producing a bearing are disclosed. The bearing comprises a part-spherical bearing member (1) and a mounting (2) which receives the member (1). The mounting (2) is provided with an accommodating space (29) which receives the member (1). At least part of the mounting (2) is elastic and has expanded radially during assembly of the bearing to receive the member via an opening which communicates with the space (29) and subsequently has contracted radially to retain the member (1). The mounting (2) is provided with an extension member (3) which extends, axially with respect to said opening which communicates with the space (29), from the mounting (2) to define an extension zone. The method of producing a bearing comprises the steps of moulding the mounting (2) with an injection mould comprising: an outer, shaped part corresponding to the outer contour of the mounting (2) and member (3); a sleeve for forming the inner contour of the member (3); and a mandrel for forming the space (29); and, when the moulding compound has hardened, axially removing firstly the shaped part, secondly the sleeve and finally the mandrel. <IMAGE>

This invention relates to bearing assemblies of an electric motor. The bearing bearing assembly is known, which contains a monolithic spherical body made of an oil-impregnated porous material, a bearing and a felt lubricating ring passing along a spherical surface in the zone of maximum radius. ; When assembling such a unit, the bearings are first centered with the core inserted instead of the shaft and held in the shaft hole of the support shield, and then the intermediate space between the spherical outer surface of the spherical head and the hole is filled with cast resin. After the resin has cured, the sphere will be in a solid, spherical body and retainers can be rotated there. Also known is the bearing unit | - in which the bearing housing is made monolithic with a collet clamp covering the insert, and the accumulative cavity is located on the side of the outer surface of the housing 2}. i A disadvantage of the known bearings of the outgoing assemblies is that the felt ring is deformed as a result of injection molding, and as a result of the burning out of part of the oil under the influence of high temperatures, the possibility of a shrinkage shell is not excluded. The purpose of the invention is to improve lubrication conditions and simplify the technology of manufacturing the bearing assembly. The goal is achieved by the fact that a spherical slide bearing unit containing a spherical bearing and made by casting or injection molding of synthetic material, a monolithic body with a spherical cavity under the bearing and with elastic collet lobes, covered with a bearing with a latrine cavity for lubrication, provided with a washer axial thrust of the shaft and a felt sealing disc mounted on the shaft from the end of the bearing, and the monolithic body is made with an end collar, on the inner surface of which an annular groove is made, covering the washer and the sealing disc; in this case, the collecting cavity for lubrication is formed by the inner surface of the collar, the outer surfaces of the collet lobes and the end surface of the sealing ring. ya fig. 1 shows a motor with spherical plain bearings mounted on its shaft, a longitudinal section; in fig. 2 - monolithic bearing housing, plan view; in fig. 3 shows section A-A in FIG. 2. The housing 3 is made with a common collecting cavity for accommodating a spherical bearing, a thrust washer 5 and a sealing ring b. The accumulator cavity 7 for lubrication is formed by the inner surface of the collar, 8, the outer surfaces of the collet tabs 9 and the end surface of the sealing ring b. Such an arrangement of the accumulative cavity 7 will improve the conditions for lubricating the bearing. In addition, the manufacture of such a bearing provides the possibility of using molded parts during its casting, imitating the bearing shape and then removing them in the radial direction (bearing and installing the bearing, sealing ring and thrust washer. Assembly of the bearing unit is carried out as follows. the bearing 1, then the cumulative cavity 7 is filled with lubricant, after which the felt ring 6 is pressed against the spherical bearing, the thrust washer 5 is inserted into the groove 10 of the shoulder 8. Bearing 1 is fixed to the housing 3 by a principle e1aschelki.
